Art is part of our DNA, and we enjoy sharing it with our guests through guided tours, , and nods to our namesake throughout the property. One art-filled activity is the Destination Discovery Tour, a curated experience showcasing the artistic vision and inspirations behind The Gwen, drawn from our muse, Gwen Lux, a pioneering female sculptor of the 1930s. Led by our concierge, the tour begins in The Gwen’s lobby, highlighting original art pieces, including Gwen’s commissions and the striking “Unfinished” sculpture by Deborah Moss. Guests will also visit the historic McGraw-Hill panels in The Shops at North Bridge and stroll along Michigan Avenue to view the sculptural replicas that adorn The Gwen’s iconic facade.
