✨ FLOW WORKSHOP • SEPTEMBER 17 ✨

One last flow at Durty Nellie’s 🥹❤️

September 17 marks our very last show at Durty Nellie’s, and with it, our last Flow Workshop for the time being. We’d love to pack the floor and spend one more night learning, moving, and flowing together in a space that’s been home to so many of these workshops.

This week, Cristian will be teaching:

STAFF FLOW BEYOND THE HANDS

Take your staff flow beyond traditional hand manipulation and explore new ways to make your staff an extension of your entire body, not just your hands. In this workshop, we’ll explore floorwork, body pathways, and spinning the staff with your feet to create more dynamic and creative combinations.

You can use either a contact staff or dragon staff. We’ll begin by covering the basic prerequisite movements needed to bring your staff flow down to the floor, then build into transitions and combinations. We’ll also explore foot spinning and manipulation, which requires no previous experience with the technique. All skill levels welcome!

Even if you’re a complete beginner, we’ll cover some fundamentals before getting down to the floor.

Come flow with us one more time at Nellie’s 💜 Bring your staff, bring your friends, and help us give this chapter the sendoff it deserves.

Aquarian Flow Goddess is taking over this week’s Flow Workshop! 🪭✨

This Thursday, Heather is bringing us a Fans Workshop featuring fan tech, boxes, tosses, and a little choreography to put it all together.

And while we’re giving her the spotlight, a HUGE shoutout to Heather for all the work she’s put in behind the scenes helping coordinate and book this year’s SSS Flow Workshops. 💜 She’s helped bring so many talented flow artists into our workshop space this season, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and love she’s poured into making this year’s workshops happen.

Now it’s finally her turn to teach. 🥰

🪭 PLEASE BRING FANS IF YOU HAVE THEM! We’ll only have one loaner pair available this week, so if you have an extra pair you’re willing to share with a fellow flowmie, bring those along too!

Thursday, Aug. 20 | 8–9 PM

Come learn some fan flow with the Aquarian Flow Goddess herself! 🪭🔥
