Graced with multiple awards from the Ontario Conservatory of Music at a very young age, CHIA, previously recognized as Christina Pasion is re-emerging the scene, stepping into her alter ego and redefining the essence of what music means to her. Making a mark in the progressive dance music scene, backed by Sony Music and UMG in the earlier stages of her career, this Canadian FACTOR supported artist

is unafraid to let her vulnerability show. Undefined by a any particular genre, the strength she posses as a songwriter continues to contribute to various projects outside of her own. Collaborating with sought out producers around the world she continues to let her truth burst out the seams of her artistry, pushing boundaries through live looping, lyricism, storytelling and sound. Outside of music, CHIA is also the author of upcoming graphic novel "Finding Chia" where she explores themes of childhood trauma, spirituality and tapping into your "CHI" energy to manifest. Having dealt personally with mental health disorders, it is her mission to stand in advocacy for mental health and the pursuit of healing.

Story

Singing always came natural to this artist growing up, her father was a disk jockey playing around local venues, and her mother was "the star" of karaoke entertainment. CHP always dug herself into the depths of music through any milestone she experienced in life. She started competing in vocal performance competitions around age 7-11 yrs old at the Royal Conservatory of Music. From there Christina Hølly started expressing herself through writing poetry to ease her mind off the troubles she faced in her life. In 2013 her first ever original song "Stay with Me" was released, signed and published by Universal Music. This opened doors for the act in the EDM industry. To date the talent has signed other exclusive song records to other major labels within the same genre and is now delving into the world of pop exploring different sounds which suite her voice and allow her to thrive vocally. Recently the singer is loving the natural sounds of trumpets, violins, flamenco guitar, piano and acoustics, mixed with electronic synths. For all bookings/inquiries email @ [email protected]
