How do I even begin to say how thankful I am for this year?! ✨
First, my deepest gratitude to my husband, Brian. I tell my couples all the time that while we obviously love a wedding, we REALLY love the stories of love. Love is in making dinner, changing diapers, a quick kiss, a surprise full tank of gas. ❤️ I’m so thankful to have a partner who values our life, supports our family, and makes it possible for me to show up to my work unapologetically. That is such a gift. ✨
I’m thankful for my three amazing daughters. Grace and Scarlett are the greatest adventure of my life, and Joy is the anchor we didn’t know we needed! 🫶 Being officially outnumbered has helped me prioritize what matters, what I say yes to, and how much I can actually carry in two hands (a lot, btw). 💪
I’m thankful for my incredible couples who choose us and keep referring us long after their “I do’s.” 🤍 Meeting new couples and seeing so many Shh lovers this year has meant the world. Watching you buy homes, travel, have babies, adopt pets, support your communities, and live beautiful lives… you’ll never know how much I care for you long after we return your décor. ✨
My biggest thank you goes to my team at Shh. Stef, Meghan, Vanessa, Paola, Cate, Zach, Jen, Jamie, and Angela — you made this year possible for my very pregnant self, and so full of growth! 🙌 I can’t wait for next year as we keep making Shh Events not only a great experience for our couples, but a fun and fulfilling place to work. Going “into the office” with you on a Saturday is truly the best. 💖
I’m so grateful that this life has unfolded in such a wild, beautiful, uncharted way. I’m proud to be a woman employing so many other women (how f*cking cool is that?!). 🔥 I’m thankful you support my woke little agenda of believing love is worth fighting for and the planet worth being kind to. 🌎
