Revel pays twice the amount of the misappropriated deposits.

Not only has the Court ordered full reimbursement of Plaintiffs’ deposits with costs and interest, but Revel has further agreed to pay an additional $41,000 to resolve the other issues (e.g., punitive damages and attorney fee issues). The case has thus ended well for these Plaintiffs, who would be happy to support the many other Revel Group victims based on this precedent.

This document (extracted from a Revel Interrogatory response) shows how the Revel Group appropriated hundreds of thousands of dollars of clients' wedding budgets, even though it had laid off all its staff and collected over $1.5 million in PPP funds. And this is only from the first six months of the pandemic! If you recognize any of the client initials, let them know that justice is available, and direct them to this page.

When Chicago was locked down and gatherings were prohibited, where were you? Where do you think Revel Space (Motor Row & Fulton Market), Revel Décor, and Limelight, were? You can guess from their sworn denials of these statements. If you think this isn't right, like, follow and share our page.
While all Chicago businesses were ordered to cease non-essential business operations from March 20 to June 3, 2020 and all gatherings in Chicago were prohibited:
Revel Décor Denied that: "Revel Décor did not provide event production and design goods, services, and personnel not working from home to any client between May 1, 2020 and June 1, 2020."

While all gatherings of more than 50 people in Chicago were prohibited from March through the end of 2020:
Revel Space Denied that: "Revel Space did not provide venue, beverages, beverage services, or personnel for any client at a gathering of more than 50 people between April 30 and September 19, 2020."

Limelight Catering Denied that: "Limelight did not provide catering goods, services, or personnel for any client at a gathering of more than 50 people between April 30 and September 19, 2020."
