In 1985, a group of Irish Americans bought the former Mayfair School with dreams of turning it into a cultural center. Today, the Irish American Heritage Center is Chicago's hub for Irish dance, music, language and much more.

Today's the day! We hope to see all of you at our St. Patrick's Fest today!

Getting here/Parking:

Parking – our free parking lots will open but fill up quickly. Please respect our neighbors, park only in designated areas, and do not block driveways or alleys. We also have a free parking shuttle from 1-11PM from the Copernicus Center at 5216 West Lawrence.

Public Transportation – the Blue Line Montrose stop is the closest CTA stop, and the #81 bus is the closest bus

The Irish American Heritage Center is saddened by the loss of our good friend Irish Senator Billy Lawless. Senator Lawless dedicated his life to advocacy for Irish immigrants and for fair treatment of immigrants in general.
