Yesterday was my first full-service catering event in almost two months, and if I'm being honest, I was nervous.
Not because I forgot how to do it, but because stepping back into something you love after time away can feel a little unfamiliar. There were moments leading up to the event where I questioned myself, wondered if I still had it, and felt the weight of everything life has brought over the last couple of months.
But the moment we started setting up, preparing plates, and serving guests, it all came back. The feeling, the purpose, the passion, and the reminder of why I started Signature Taste by Jelian in the first place.
More than anything, I left feeling complete.
A huge thank you to my team for showing up, working hard, and helping bring the vision to life. I couldn't do this without you.
And thank you to our clients for trusting us with your special event and welcoming us back into your celebration. It was truly an honor to serve you.
Sometimes life requires us to pause, regroup, and refocus. Yesterday reminded me that the passion is still there, the purpose is still there, and the work is still worth doing.
We're back at it.
