SHARE THIS POST: Well, I guess it is time to start booking shows again. Shows will be booked through our new email for the new space, and will have a more efficient format. If you did not respond to the email we sent out, or left a comment on the last post, we will not contact you. So, this is like the last chance. Get on it.

WE HAVE NEWS! PLEASE SHARE! After we started the Kickstarter Project, we ran into some issues with the current space. So, instead of using the funding to fix up a space that we can't use, we decided to use it as a relocation fund. We have finally found a new space, after seeing 27 spaces. Our new space will be located in Michigan City, IN, and will operate under another name. We will begin having shows in September 2014. If you wish to continue doing booking with us, please respond, and we will add you to the new email list.

This will be completely run by the same people, in the same way. Thanks again for all of your support, and here's to many more years on the grind. We miss every one of you terribly, and can't wait to have you back!

The end of an era: a message to everyone. I never wanted to have to write this message, but we will, at this time, not be reopening at our current location. The space that we had been using is no longer available to us. We are looking for another location to do shows, permanently. We will use the Kickstarter fund as a relocation fund. To all the bands from across the country, thank you for the kind outpouring. It meant more to us than you will ever know. To the local people that helped, and cared, thank you. The scene in NWI is very lackluster most of the time, but the few people and bands that care, care enough to make it all worth it. Please keep your eyes peeled for information to when and where we will be reopening. We will still be hosting acoustic acts, at the Chesterton Station Cafe. Thanks, again, you have changed our lives. We are down, but not out.

Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far. We are close to making out initial goal, but still have a long way to go to make this happen 100%. We have hosted over 200 individual bands, and each and every one of you has left an impression on us. I hope that the Sound Cellar has done the same for you. Please donate, share, volunteer, etc, to keep this place alive. We are so lucky to have all of you and would hate for the good times to stop rolling!

The Sound Cellar, a DIY all-ages music venue, needs some work. We want to offer a better sound experience and atmosphere!
