Two Saucy Chiques traveled to North Africa and treated the hosts and their guests to remarkable sights, sounds, and spices during "A Night in Royal Morocco."

Guests sipped on Pomegranate-Orange Coolers and nibbled on Grilled Harissa Shrimp, Moroccan Ci**rs filled with Cumin-Spiced Chicken and Golden Raisins, Roasted Eggplant on Pita Bites, Lamb Meatballs with Feta and Mint, and Whipped Feta Crostini.

Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were followed by a four-course sit-down dinner and passed desserts. Each guest was greeted at his or her seat by the following menu:

~ Pumpkin, Chickpea, and Tomato Soup
~ An Appetizer Trio of Warm Sesame Halloumi, Cumin Roasted Potato with Smoked Salmon and Dill Creme Fraiche, and a Falafel Cake with Tahini
~ Fennel and Orange Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette
~ Roasted Chicken with Lemon and Olives over Basmati Rice with Orange Zest and Pistachios
~ Warm Flatbread and Assorted Olives

Creme au Chocolat, Almond Cookies, and Spiced Pear Tartlets were accompanied by Mint Tea and Moroccan Spiced Coffee and were a sweet end to the night.

The grand entrance of this Pelham home was draped in vibrant fabrics creating a tent effect which was the perfect backdrop for the twirling belly dancer. Glowing candlelight, intricate lanterns, and exotic florals completed the overall look.

An unforgettable adventure was experienced by all!

The holiday season is over, but it certainly was Saucy! Guests enjoyed an evening with friends and fabulous food at this Mount Kisco home. Passed hors d'oeuvres included Asian Chicken Meatballs, Mini Adobo Pulled Chicken Tacos, Jumbo Shrimp "Cocktails," and Twice Baked Potato Cupcakes with Chive Sour Cream and Bacon Sprinkles. An elaborate charcuterie display rounded out the cocktail hour. A lavish "Taste of Italy" buffet followed featuring Filet of Beef with Port Wine Reduction, Roasted Chicken Agrodulce with Red and Green Grapes, Campanelle with Artichoke Cream, Braised Radicchio, and Lemon Zest, Field Greens with Candied Pecans, Dried Cranberries, Gorgonzola, and Sweet Honey Vinaigrette, and a duo of savory Foccacia. As a sweet end to the evening, guests were treated to "Dolce Crostini" - Fresh Berries, Sweetened Mascarpone, and Pistachio Crumble on Shortbread, "Drunken" Iced Coffee with Kahlua and Whipped Cream, and a "Naked" Cake Bar.

Spring (and LOVE!) was in the air at Katie and Chris' Engagement Celebration. Incredible weather, a stunning home, and an upbeat crowd made it a night to remember. One hundred-five guests were treated to a casual-chic menu of six passed hors d'oeuvres, an elaborate small-plates buffet, and decadent but dainty desserts. Passed hors d'oeuvres included: buffalo chicken meatballs with creamy blue cheese, cold sesame noodles and ginger shrimp, twice baked-potato cupcakes with bacon "sprinkles," white corn and cannellini bean crostini, two-bite lobster rolls, and mini pulled chicken tacos with shaved red cabbage. Stationary, small-plate displays included a "sandwich shop" featuring slow-roasted barbeque pulled pork with classic slaw and soft potato rolls, and a "craft" three cheese mac & cheese bar with toppings such as bacon bits, sauteed mushrooms, jalapenos, onion confetti, heirloom tomatoes, and salt & pepper potato chip crumbs. Following savory with sweet, guests indulged in bite-size strawberry shortcake- and cinnamon toast crunch cupcakes, s'mores on a stick, and iced coffee cocktails. It was a spectacularly saucy event!

Two Saucy Chiques had the pleasure of catering Kate's 1st Communion Luncheon. The lovely Pelham Manor home was the perfect backdrop for a spring menu. Guests enjoyed petite sandwiches of grilled steak, caramelized onions, and Gorgonzola spread on ciabatta, roasted chicken salad with apples, cranberries, and walnuts on multigrain, and vegetarian "taco" wraps - black beans, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sharp cheddar, and avocado cream. The sandwiches were accompanied by a chilled pasta salad of roasted grape tomatoes, bocconcini, and basil, and a classic wedge salad with butter lettuce, ripe tomatoes, chunky blue cheese, and bacon. Cornflake crusted chicken tenders and dulce crostini - homemade shortbread cookies topped with sweetened mascarpone and fresh berries - rounded out the menu.

Prost! Slainte! Salud! Bottom's up! Whatever the language, Two Saucy Chiques helped bring on good cheer! A "pub-style" menu was designed to complement the lager, ale, and stout on hand at a Surprise 50th Beer Bash in Mt. Kisco, NY. Guests enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres: hot pretzels with stone ground mustard and cheddar-pimento dipping sauce, three-cheese macaroni and cheese cupcakes with bacon "sprinkles," and buffalo chicken meatballs complete with carrots, celery, and blue cheese, followed by a buffet of beer-simmered bratwurst and onions, brown-sugar baked beans, and "craft" mashed potatoes topped with braised short ribs, bacon bits, shredded cheddar, onion confetti, chive infused butter, and horseradish sour cream. Last call included a spectacular, "Bucket of Hoegaarden," cake (from a bakery in Levittown, NY), Guinness chocolate cupcakes with Bailey's buttercream, and frosty root beer "flights."
