During one of the darkest holiday periods in recent history, we at Michael’s are doing all we can to bring a little bit of a bright spot to a very grim Easter/Passover season. One of our head growers, Noah, has been spending time this week bringing flowers to nursing homes throughout Connecticut. Nursing homes are one of the most threatened places during this outbreak, for both residents and employees. Many are going to spend these holidays without friends and family for the first time ever. It is in times like these we must truly come together. During a time we should be celebrating, we are doing the exact opposite and we hope flowers can help people temporarily forget that. Unfortunately, due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, we will be postponing our local beer festival. The fest will be rescheduled for early November. Tickets for the fest will be fully refunded or honored at the November date. We hope this passes quickly and you can all join us in November. Thank you for your support, stay safe and wash your hands.
