A Little Life & Business Update + 2027 Availability!

As much as I absolutely LOVE being a wedding planner and getting to be part of so many beautiful love stories, I've also been making a conscious effort to be more intentional with my time and prioritize my family!

With that being said, I've officially made the decision to block off a portion of my 2027 calendar for some much-needed FAMILY TIME!

We'll be taking a family vacation in June, and we'll also be spending time together with my bonus kiddos during summer break! I've decided to take that time away from weddings so we can make memories, enjoy our summer, and simply spend quality time together as a family.

I've also blocked off Thanksgiving week for family time!

Now for a little 2027 wedding availability update!

I'm excited to announce a special collaboration between Gracefully Planned Events and Sunbury Farmhouse!

I've been working closely with Tony, the owner of Sunbury Farmhouse in Sunbury, North Carolina, to help make beautiful weddings more affordable for couples planning on a budget.

For a limited time, Sunbury Farmhouse is offering 40% off venue packages for weddings and events taking place now through May 16, 2027!

For example, a venue package regularly priced at $1,500 would be just $900 with this promotion! Depending on your needs and budget, there may even be opportunities for additional savings.

A LITTLE ABOUT SUNBURY FARMHOUSE

Located just outside Suffolk, Virginia, Sunbury Farmhouse offers a beautiful country setting with a pond, outdoor ceremony locations, and flexible reception options.

- Smaller weddings: The garage area can accommodate approximately 60–65 guests for an indoor reception, depending on the layout, potentially eliminating the need for a tent.
- Larger weddings: The property has space for outdoor tented receptions, allowing couples to accommodate larger guest counts.
- Outdoor ceremonies: Several areas throughout the property offer beautiful views and backdrops for your ceremony.

LET'S TALK ABOUT RENTAL PRICING

One thing I've been working on is finding affordable rental options for couples interested in the property.

Here are some examples from quotes I've recently received:

- $650: Tables and chairs for approximately 70 guests, four additional 8-foot tables, and delivery.
- $1,320: Tent, tables, chairs, and delivery for approximately 70 guests.
- Approximately $900: Restroom trailer for larger weddings, when needed.

For weddings with around 150 guests, I would recommend budgeting additional funds for a larger tent and more tables and chairs. I'm happy to work with the rental company to get a more accurate quote based on your guest count.

These prices are estimates based on recent quotes and may vary depending on your needs and availability.

SPECIAL PRICING THROUGH GRACEFULLY PLANNED EVENTS

In addition to the venue discount, I'm also offering reduced pricing on my wedding planning and coordination packages for couples booking at Sunbury Farmhouse!

Wedding coordination starts at $700, and I'm also open to negotiating pricing on partial and full-service planning packages.

I understand that every wedding and every budget looks different. I'm happy to discuss what services you need and see what we can work out!

My coordination services include timeline creation, vendor communication, rehearsal coordination, wedding-day management, and more.

Couples who book my coordination services also have access to my wedding décor inventory, including lanterns, candles, vases, table runners, signage, and other decorative pieces that can help reduce additional rental and décor expenses.

WHAT COULD THIS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR BUDGET?

Here's an example for a wedding with approximately 70 guests using one of the discounted venue packages:

Option 1: Indoor Reception

- Venue package: $900
- Tables, chairs, and delivery: $650
- Wedding coordination: $700

Estimated total: $2,250

Option 2: Outdoor Tented Reception

- Venue package: $900
- Tent, tables, chairs, and delivery: $1,320
- Wedding coordination: $700

Estimated total: $2,920

These examples aren't complete wedding budgets, but they show what some of the larger expenses could look like! Catering, photography, entertainment, insurance, and other wedding expenses would still need to be factored in.

It's honestly crazy to think about how much has changed over the last few years. I've been working in the wedding industry for almost five years now, but I started Gracefully Planned Events a little over three years ago, right before I turned 20! What started as a dream of mine has turned into something I'm so incredibly proud of. Yesterday I got to tour the cutest little hidden gem in Swainsboro, Georgia, and I seriously think more couples need to know about this place! 🤍🌿

The Oaks at Hooks Farm has so much to offer for a wedding weekend! They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, indoor reception space, an outdoor dance floor under string lights, a pond, tons of open property, and so many different areas that couples can really make their own.

But I have to say, one of my FAVORITE details was the Bible wall. 🥹🤍 It takes up an entire corner of the reception space and is filled with open Bibles displaying different scriptures with greenery mixed throughout. They typically set the wedding cake underneath it, and I just think it makes the most beautiful and meaningful backdrop for the cake table. As a Christian myself, that was definitely one of those little details that immediately stood out to me.

I also love that this venue really gives you the opportunity to make an entire weekend out of your wedding instead of everything being squeezed into one day. Their wedding rental is currently $3,000 and gives you access to the property from Thursday at noon through Sunday at noon, AND tables and chairs are included! The venue also has accommodations that can sleep up to 10 people, and there’s an RV park less than five minutes away with tiny-house-style cottages for additional family members, wedding party members, or out-of-town guests. Having everyone that close by can make a wedding weekend so much easier!

This is exactly why I love touring venues in person. As a planner, it gives me the chance to actually walk the property, see how all of the spaces flow together, learn the little details you might not notice online, and start thinking about how I could make the space work for my couples and their vision.

And another BIG perk for my Georgia couples — Gracefully Planned Events does not charge a travel fee for weddings in this area! 🤍 If you choose The Oaks at Hooks Farm or another venue around this area, you would simply pay the price of your planning or coordination package without an additional travel fee.
