They say some things start as a joke, but ours turned into the greatest love story I never saw coming. 🤍
He walked into my workplace during a job interview, just passing through to visit his mom. That was all it took. Before he had even made the move to WV, my coworkers and I were already laughing about saving boxes for "my future husband." We joked. We teased. Deep down, I think we both knew.
A birthday dinner turned into a night of long, effortless conversations. A Facebook message followed. Then a first date. Then trips together, memories made, and an engagement in one of my favorite places in the world. 💍
Now look at us.
A house. A son. A whole lot of love — and just the right amount of chaos — to fill every corner of the life we've built together.
Funny how the best thing that ever happened to me started as a punchline. 😄🤍

Some things are fate. Some things are God's plan. For us, it was both. 🤍
It started with a mutual friend and a little divine intervention — Darcie, our beloved matchmaker, made sure we found each other. A Facebook invite and a dinner from Ben later, and here we are… the soon-to-be Haers. 🥹
Our love story is a simple one, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We bonded over our dogs, our love of snacks, and a shared heart for the beautiful state we call home. Together we've explored the hidden gems of West Virginia, and every adventure has only made us more sure of each other.
Now our greatest adventure is just around the corner — our wedding day.
Boy meets girl. They fall in love. They choose each other, their dogs, and a lifetime of adventures together.

Our story doesn't start here — it started in high school. We dated briefly, went our separate ways, and lost touch for 6 years. (And yes, I'm the only girl to ever break up with Avery — he will NEVER let me forget it! 😄)
In 2023, I moved to Myrtle Beach to start over. Little did I know, starting over would bring me right back to where I started. We reconnected on Snapchat, and Avery asked me to dinner before I headed back to SC. We sat at Roosters for over 3 hours talking, laughing, and falling for each other all over again. I kissed him goodbye at my car that night and couldn't stop thinking about him the entire 7.5 hour drive back.
We spent the next few weeks FaceTiming almost every night until I knew — he was my person. We made it official on October 19th, 2023, and by March 2024 he made the move to SC to be with me.
In November, our families kept asking "When are you two getting married?!" — so we looked at rings, I chose THE ONE, and on March 8th, 2025, we got married on the beach. Just the two of us. I wanted that last name, and he wanted to give it to me. So we did. 🥹
So why still have the big ceremony? Because YOU are special to us, and we can't wait to finally celebrate our love with all of our favorite people.
