There are weddings that take your breath away, and then there are weddings that feel like they’re straight out of a timeless movie. Mike & Haley’s Jackson, New Hampshire weekend was both.

He grew up visiting these mountains every year, so bringing their friends & family here to celebrate was more than beautiful scenery — it was a homecoming full of love and meaning.

From her lace-sleeved gown and dramatic veil to their sleek convertible getaway car, every detail was fashion-forward yet effortlessly elegant. Add in the warmest, most joyful guests and the magic of the White Mountains, and this weekend became one of the most stunning celebrations I’ve ever been part of.

When I photographed one of my best friend’s elopements, I carried both my film camera and my digital body with me. The result? A gallery that feels layered, textured, and timeless.

Film brings this dreamy, nostalgic quality that you can almost feel in your hands. Digital gives the crisp, true-to-life details. But it’s the moments in between—her laughter echoing down the street, the way Kyle looked at her, and little Maverick’s smile when he realized he was part of something so beautiful—that make the story whole.

This elopement will forever hold a special place in my heart, not only because of who was in front of my lens, but because of how it reminded me why I love what I do: weaving together art, memory, and love in a way that feels like your story and no one else’s.

Some moments in life feel like pure magic, and this was one of them. ✨

Caitlyn and I have been friends for almost twenty years—she’s been one of my dearest constants in life. She stood by my side on my wedding day, and it was the greatest honor to be by hers as she started this new chapter.

I’ll never forget the first time she spoke of Kyle—her whole face lit up in a way I’ll never forget. And then, when she spoke of the sweetest little boy, Maverick, that light only grew brighter. Watching her step into this beautiful new season with so much love surrounding her has been one of the true highlights of my life.
