* Bay Springs Marina
* Yellow Creek
* Little River area
* Any west-facing dock or shoreline on Weiss Lake

⏰ Best Time: 7:45 PM – 8:15 PM

This is a jet ski… This is NOT safe.

The water where the ski is located is about 3’ deep… It’s also filled with stumps, logs, brush.

We really don’t want to see what happens when you hit a stump.

If your vessel does not have a depth finder, you should really consider getting one to navigate

… And ALWAYS use caution, when outside of the river channels.

🎣 The Party Lady’s Weiss Lake Fishing Forecast
June 12th – June 14th, 2026

After a hot week across Cherokee County, Weiss Lake is settling into a typical early-summer pattern. Water temperatures are pushing into the upper 70s and low 80s, with fish moving deeper during the heat of the day. Early mornings and the last two hours before sunset will be your best windows.

🐟 Crappie

Rating: 7/10

Crappie continue to be the most reliable species on Weiss. Look for fish holding around brush piles, stake beds, and channel-edge structure in 12-15 feet of water. Live minnows remain the top producer, while small jigs tipped with minnows are also catching fish. Focus on the lower half of the lake and areas near current breaks.

Best Pattern:

* Brush piles in 12-15 feet
* Spider rigging with minnows
* Early morning and after 6 PM

🎣 Bass

Rating: 6.5/10

Bass fishing is fair to good. Most fish are transitioning to summer ledges, creek channels, and offshore structure. During low-light periods, topwater baits can produce around grass beds and points. Once the sun gets up, switch to Carolina rigs, deep-diving crankbaits, shaky heads, or finesse worms in 12-18 feet of water.

Best Pattern:

* Main lake points
* Creek channel ledges
* Early topwater bite, then fish deeper

🐈 Catfish

Rating: 8/10

Catfish are providing some of the most consistent action right now. Target creek mouths, flats adjacent to channels, and deeper holes using cut bait, chicken liver, or fresh shad. Night fishing should be excellent this weekend.

Best Pattern:

* 8-20 feet of water
* Cut bait or fresh shad
* Late evening through overnight

🐟 Striped Bass & Hybrids

Rating: 6/10

Stripers are becoming more challenging as water temperatures climb. Look for schooling activity early around river channels, particularly near the Chattooga and Little River arms. Live shad fished downline remains your best bet.

🌤 Weekend Outlook

Friday: Best overall fishing day. Stable weather and slightly lighter boat traffic should help the bite.

Saturday: Good early, slower by midday. Expect heavier recreational lake traffic.

Sunday: Similar pattern. Be on the water by sunrise for the best action.
