I'm so happy that Shannon Henricks Massey with Wild Palette Studios will be moving into the studio and continuing to offer creativity to Cheney and the surrounding communities. A year ago I was planning to retire, but I didn't like the thought of just closing the studio and after hearing how sad my customers were, especially the children, I was determined to find my replacement. Shannon was an answer to prayer. Turns out the timing of an extra year was ideal for both of us. Shannon and I have been friends for years and she will be the perfect artist for the job.
I joke with her that she reminds me of myself but 10 years younger.
The talent and skills that she brings with her from her numerous years as an art educator and her fun and positive personality will help ensure her success in this exciting new adventure. Every artist dreams of and deserves their own studio, I'm so glad I pursued my dream and now I'm happy to help Shannon fulfill hers. You can bet I will be cheering her on every step of the way. You all know Lisa Voss, the heart behind Voss Creative. She has spent years bringing creativity and community together through art. As Lisa prepares for a well-earned retirement at the end of May, I’m honored to carry on her legacy as the new owner of what will soon become Wild Palette Studios, opening June 1st!
I’m Shannon Massey, and I’ve had the joy of knowing Lisa for many years. I’m deeply grateful for all she’s done to spark artistic passion here in Cheney. I’ll be continuing many of the beloved classes she started, while also introducing some new ones of my own!
🎨 June will feature kid-focused classes starting June 17th, and by July, we’ll be rolling out a full schedule for both kids and adults.
Summer Studio for kids: Tuesdays-Middle School, and Wednesdays-Elementary School Age!
🎉 Save the date: We’re planning a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, June 28th — you won’t want to miss it!

www.wildpalettestudios.com is ALMOST up and running thanks to Emily Monson Hickey. We are hoping to have it live this Monday or Tuesday so you can start to reserve your spots for the Kids Summer Studio starting in June and adult classes/parties starting July!
