We were honored to host this weekend's meeting of 100 Kids Who Care. These extraordinary youths nominate local organizations to support and then donate their own money. This time, they selected Mikey and Me, a local rescue for "last-chance" dogs.

State Rep. Kathy Schmaltz was on hand to present the three group leaders with a special commendation signed by Governor Whitmer.

Kudos to these fine young people (and their parents) for making a positive contribution in our community!
