Only 4 sleeps until we finally meet, heroes!

We are anxiously awaiting your arrival to help us fight the evil presence and bring our village peace again. This will be an unforgettable, and hopefully successful adventure! We are counting on you, heroes!

Pictured below are some of the NPCs you will come across on your adventure! They may even send you on a side quest! There will be 15-20 characters throughout the village!

**Just in, a letter from the mayor, Jaden Drake!**

Hello, heroes!

I am Jaden Drake, the mayor and tavern owner of Windermere.

In two weeks you will embark on a quest to save our village from the evil that has come upon it.

As mayor, I speak for our villagers to how thankful we are for your bravery. We alone have not had the strength to defeat the evil and hope with your help we can bring peace and return to our normal day to day lives.

On Friday the 3rd of May at 5pm we will finally meet and get to know and build your characters.

Saturday will start with breakfast and the quest will begin.

You will have until NOON on Sunday to bring peace to the village or fail and leave Windermere to battle alone.

You are welcome to bring your own garb. Weapons, shields, and armor will be supplied by the village merchant.

You will be staying in one of our village homes. Everyone will have their own beds, but will be sharing the home with another hero. If you are coming with a friend, you will be able to lodge with them.
Food and drink will be provided by the village, but you may also bring drinks and snacks.

This quest will go rain or shine. It will cover a 15 acre area so bring comfy shoes or boots.

Once again, I want to thank you for your bravery and eagerly await your arrival to our village.

Iowa's Immersive Role Playing Fantasy Adventure Experience.

The portal needs to be guarded at all times, but one of the assigned guards is young and newly appointed and is often found napping or messing around with the Bard, hiding from his responsibilities, leaving the portal unattended and vulnerable!

We are all getting excited for the arrival of the adventurers! Start thinking about your costuming! We have some pieces available, bit there may be perks to bringing your own :)

️Meet the campaign creator and DM for the weekend; ✨️✨️Joshua Kingery✨️✨️

The Return of the Lich of Windermere is a fantasy inspired Live action game of magical lore, action and a bit of mystery.

Joshua Kingery is playing the roll of Magistrate Drako, who will guide you through the story over the weekend. He will act as your story teller and DM (Dungeon Master) for all you table top gaming fans.

Joshua has been telling stories most of his life through writing, art, comics and table top gaming. He has experience with familiar games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse and others. He has even made a few games of his own.

Joshua is an artist, story teller, sword instructor and father. Some of you may have seen him at local Renaissance fairs as the proprietor of King's Carvings . Many of the wooden weapons and shields you will be using in the game were created by him as well.

Joshua is very much looking forward to telling this story and seeing how you, the players work it out.
“As a DM I've always followed the rule of; The story is not about me, it's about my players having a good time. That being said, I try to keep things fair and most importantly, fun. For those of you choosing to join us in this adventure, bring your creativity and don't be afraid to have fun with it.”

Meet Val, the village grounds keeper. Ill-mannered, ill-tempered, and wary of strange folks that wander into the village, but he is well-known to be quite handy with maintenance and repairs around town!.... for the right price
