It’s time to start collecting your peonies! Did you know you can dry store them in your fridge for a few weeks? Take them out when you’re ready to enjoy, snip the stem and stick them in water! Voilà! No gate keeping floral secrets here!

These came from one of our favorite teacher’s garden!🫶🏼

Our next round of flowers have begun! ✨ My lucky spring subscription holders are the first to enjoy these beauties! Like I told my ladies, they are tiny but mighty like their grower 💪🏼 anemones and ranunculus start a little shorter and grow taller stems as the season goes on! It’s a short but beautiful season for these amazing beauties!

Fun fact! I started growing these in my house in January! A labor of love for my favorite spring flower 🫶🏼💕✨

If more sprout through the weekend I will update when the stand is stocked!

Anthony, my elite employee!

I said I needed to dig the dahlia patch… he said hold my cigar. Orders this digger trenching thing (😂 I’m just a girl remember?) for the tractor. We worked together since it needed to dig a bit deeper and I stood on the back for 12 rows…. But it only took 20 minutes 💪🏼

I am whatever kind of crazy this is:

1. Text neighbor that you noticed her husband mowed over the peonies. Ask if they don’t want said peonies. They said no, I go dig those babies up. (I have the best neighbors) No shame.

2. I broke the shovel in the process. Who does that?

BUT now I have 4 new huge peony bushes to add to our field!

📣 Local peeps I am asking for help this peony season:

If you have any white or blush peonies and you would like to sell me a few stems I will teach you the proper time to cut them! I am in need of some for two beautiful brides in June! This will keep me from having to ship them in and keep our florals as local and fresh as possible for the events!

Make it make sense to me? This plant is SO insane, it spreads into my yard and has take over my garden. I’ll never be able to get rid of it. But how does this sell for $2.50 per stem wholesale and I literally just rip it out by the handful every spring 💀🤣 I should be a millionaire with how many I have….it’s so cute but like…… who needs lily of the valley?!
