Good Afternoon, There are times when we all stand around and gossip. Even people over 67 do it. Then there are times when we stand by on social media and watch mental illness. What do you do when you see it? Do you reach out to the family? Is Moccasin Bend called? Do we just laugh about it, then keep scrolling for the next tata or tats flash? As women we should all reach out to and tell her to go home, Lesley. Find your Mom. Find your Dad. Know that everyone who is decent and kind is pulling for you to stop the madness. There is a word we use, “Agency”. Whoever is with you should stop videoing you. They should know women like me are watching. I am going to call the police on him as I told him over the phone that day. Tell him, Lesley. Remind him I’m that female who pulls for other females. ALL. THE ..TIME!!! Warn him that I’ve already contacted my friend at the FBI. The innocent eyes program. Tell him to never exploit you this way. Please go home to Florida, Lesley. Find your agency again.

There are very few people who know the family name, Shulman. If you’re Jewish maybe you do. If you don’t know the name Shulman, you should. The Shulman family was an awesome family that grew up next to me in Johnson City, TN. Johnny Shulman and I have remained buds. Jim Shulman was the man that helped put Tennessee’s democracy babk together last week. Do know, there was chaos, then there was calm. Shulman brought this much needed calm. Without a doubt, blacks and whites owe him a great deal of gratitude. He should run for Governor. MEP

Good Morning,

You gotta own your s**t - walk away from the shame and the blame - before anybody can support you.

Sometimes even doing that on a worldwide stage - tells everyone around you, I gotta go now . I’m sorry. I can’t support y’all while I feel like I can’t breath…

I know this pain all to well

There are times when history must be remembered as it was, not how we would have liked it to be. The confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to THE SUPREME COURT will be a memoir of women if she chooses her belief and hopes in healthcare being deemed a man’s choice, not a female’s decision. If you are a conservative and believe this is your right to tell women what and when they should receive healthcare procedures safely, all while cutting taxes to punish woman and children for being poor, then life with a purpose has not met your heart, let alone your brain yet.

Only a God made from love will lead Amy Coney Barrett now. Here’s hoping her Catholicism whispers this unconditional love to her everyday.

I also hope God has a better memory of the healthcare atrocities perpetrated against women when men controlled everything a woman could do with her own body, including having the ability to r**e their wives if they saw fit.

Good Morning,

Since our Mayor appoints so many people to public boards associated with our city’s functions, do you think we the people should ask the new Mayor of Chattanooga to quit issuing beer licenses to non-profit institutions who are using alcohol sales to prop up their financial stability?

Imagine if The Urban Lawn, a local private business, didn’t have to pay the same taxes as everyone else. Then imagine we could simply sell our own alcohol and beer to subsidize the owner of The Urban Lawn. Think about this for a second, now imagine I ask mostly women to work for free “for marketing exposure”.

Or better yet, someone at these “non-profit” institutions asks V.Love to cover the $2.35 an hour staff member to subsidize institutions who are no longer functioning as a public means of trust. “It’s not that much. You guys can make the tips”, I’ve been told. 🤣🤣

If I’ve been told once, I’ve been told a hundred times in the last six months, “That’s not how things work, Michele. We aren’t supposed to tap into our savings, or sell anything in “our” trust account, EVER.”

“If not now, then WHEN?”, is what I usually say in return.

I have always wondered if you take away the “bar profits” from these local non-profit institutions, will they soon cease to exist? Is there a way we can all co-exist financially? Should the government really be subsidizing charitable fundraising and private events? Imagine the leadership and trust our community would build with our young people by ensuring philanthropy did not enrich the powerful by taking from its workers and the taxpayers.

☝🏽

As the owner of V. Love Events and Staffing Company, I’ve been asked countless times to do things “for free” (or at a significant discount) “for my marketing exposure.” I always ask back, “Marketing for whom? And where’s the data that measures my free exposure?”

The next Mayor of Chattanooga must begin to change the hearts of the local women who “volunteer” and get them to understand they are financially hurting the very mothers and children they are trying to protect.

Have a Great Weekend.

Our next Mayor needs to ask Unum and Blue Cross executives and board to create a food court made of entrepreneurs. The federally-backed untaxed financial system in which our beautiful fundraisers beg for pennies will only create more poverty and disease among women and children. The color of this poverty will not matter in the end.

Good Morning.

Mayoral Candidate Kim White does not have the courage to take on hard issues facing everyday Chattanoogans. Last time I checked, none of these VERY GENEROUS leaders on all these “non-profit” and “not-for-profit” boards around town have never advocated for a “living wage” for their workers or the people they supposedly care for so much.

How come men (corporations) can make any donations they want, but the mostly women and gay men who work at these “non-profits” around our town CANNOT? Funny how the workers at “non-profits” are almost always women or gay (or secretly both 😉😉), but the boards are mostly made up of bankers and the “powerful wives” around town. Give me a BREAK.

The non-profit community, alongside women like Alexis Bogo and Kim White, might never understand how our local taxation policy lets BCBST, the Baylor boys, the McCallie Men, and all the other supposedly CHARITABLE people around town off the hook by not requiring them to pay their fair share of LOCAL business and property taxes.

You know why they’re not paying their fair share of property and franchise/excise taxes? Because they don’t have to worry about anyone saying anything negative to them because gals like Kim White don’t have the courage to stand up to the institutional hoarders like Alexis Bogo.

Hamico-SHAMICO + Kim White for Mayor =

Get insurance to pay for anything that men did not govern or think a woman should receive financial support for each month. 👇🏽

• insurance should NEVER pay for birth control for women
• insurance should NEVER pay for childcare for a woman and mother
• insurance should NEVER pay for leave for a woman to take care of her ailing husband or child or parent(s)
• insurance should NEVER pay for post pregnancy therapy or weekly nurse practitioner visits for the first nine weeks of home healthcare after the birth of her child
• insurance should ABSOLUTELY NEVER pay for a woman’s right to end her pregnancy just as it begins if she so chooses this very safe medical procedure (if done in a sterile environment of course).
• insurance should ABSOLUTELY NEVER pay for post-surgery mental health evaluations for women after a miscarriage, an abortion, a r**e, a dater**e drug test being administered, or anything else associated with men thinking women should keep their legs closed for fear the man can not control himself around a woman in a bikini.
• insurance should ABSOLUTELY NEVER pay for a surgery to change gender identity, even though sexual identity remains something all together different from becoming transgender in most people’e eyes who were made during the twenty-first century.

Having long since understood the financial nature of the global economy, I find it inspiring that Sarah Bettens had the courage and fortune to become Sam Bettens these last few years. Watching his journey has been at times difficult but powerful. Gender identity may often times be tied to economic suitability, in my humble opinion.

ACCESSIBLE AND POSITIVE HUMAN OUTCOMES HAVE OFTEN BEEN MY MEANS TO AN END WHEN “ACTING MALE”.

It’s no wonder almost 70% of all personality disorders diagnosed in this country are women. How can anyone know who they are as a woman, if most of the time we are all being told we must strive for perfection, lest imperfect bodies kill us. (I guess it depends on who is determining perfection and who is paying for our healthy choices most days. I’d love for my YOGA INSTRUCTOR or personal fitness coach to be paid under my BCBST healthcare policy, but last time I checked with my Tennessee Insurance Commissioner he wasn’t even suggesting this be “an approved deduction”... He has a great smile and big shoulders though. 😉)

Did you pick your husband because you felt he’d have a leg up on the economic future of your children? Did you pick him because his strong abounding presence gave you a widget of hope of what it must feel like to be empowered? Or did he pick you (god help both of you if this is how your marriage began).

I for one believe empowerment over being put on a pedestal is always the sexiest thing a man or woman can do for one another in a relationship. Often people ask me why I never married my partner of choice. And at least once a week someone calls my home elevator businesses and asks to speak with “Michael Peterson”; and yet, I never faulted these clients of mine for not believing a woman can actually be an original-owner of a small business without being asked almost weekly whether my husband or my father started my business for me.

If you pay into a pension or a healthcare policy, and we the people of Chattanooga and Tennessee do not elect our state insurance commissioner, then expect identity politics to divide and r**e your communities blind.

No better proof of this was when I asked my friend to ask his boss at BCBST how many woman are paying these healthcare premiums? Or I ask another BCBST friend of mine - “How many policy holders are paying into the financial coffers up on are actually WOMEN?

And then my third question is always - of these women working and paying into this antiquated system of “BCBST insurance”, of what percentage of these are black? (Needless to say BCBST keeps this ratio very close to their chest.)

When is the last time a black employee paying their BCBST even asked, “Excuse me Sir, where do you invest the monthly healthcare dollars I give you to mitigate the risk of my family and children needing healthcare?”. One could only assume almost NEVER based on the conditions of private development in places I go into everyday.

If you cannot educate people of all colors to understand the “healthcare” and “economic system” you are paying into that is contributing nothing back to your family besides your own community’s decay and economic demise, then can one person actually change the lens within your view most days?

I know I’m not going to be a perfect candidate for Mayor once I get below 300 pounds and get my businesses settled. But I am the right candidate to understand how BCBST is redistributing Chattanooga resources to rural communities throughout our state, and yet, almost no one else is talking about how they don’t EVEN PAY ANY CITY PROPERTY TAXES ... Its financially abhorrent at best.

Pay your fair share BCBST. Or collect some of those “excise tax” dollars for Chattanoogans who believe in your leadership.

What’s good for the state is good for our city too Dr. Hickey, Esquire.
