This bride made the decision to change her wedding gown because the one she'd originally chosen just didn't feel like her. It didn't feel like the right dress, and she gave herself permission to change it.

Clearly, that was the right choice!

The lesson: Give yourself permission to adjust something if it doesn't feel right. Your wedding day isn't about checking boxes. It's about feeling completely, confidently yourself.

When photographers choose portrait locations, we're looking for three things: beautiful light, a clean background, and room to create.

This spot at The Highlands Chapel at Howe Farms gave us all three. Timeless architecture, soft evening light, and plenty of space for that beautiful veil to catch the breeze.

Those little details make a big difference. They're also the kind of moments that make a wedding photographer's heart happy.
