Meet the 1912 Autocar the oldest surviving motor vehicle company in the Western Hemisphere.
This 2-cylinder, 12-passenger bus was a true pioneer.
Before “bus routes” or “transit systems” were everyday terms, Autocar was already laying the groundwork for what modern transportation would become.
Built in Pittsburgh, PA, this early people-mover shows just how far engineering and ingenuity had come by 1912, and how far it would take us.
A rare piece of history, proudly here at the Coker Museum.
Come see the machine that helped America get moving.
