Hi friends! We have a lot of new faces around here, so I wanted to properly introduce myself. I’m Bailey, the owner + planning director behind Gathered Wedding Planning✨

Gathered began in 2023, just one month after I had my first baby. If you asked pretty much anyone around me at the time, they probably would have told me not to start a company. 😂 I was postpartum, learning how to be a mom, and stepping into something completely new but I truly believe the Lord had something bigger in mind.

Looking back, I can see God opening doors, providing the right people at the right time, and making a way when I had no idea what I was doing.

From the beginning, I never wanted Gathered to just be a “me” thing. Today, I have the most incredible team of women alongside me who bring so much talent, creativity, organization, and heart to this company. 🤍

That has never felt more true than it has over the last week and a half. I had an unexpected medical emergency that completely changed the pace of life for a minute. There have been a lot of emotions and adjustments, but my team stepped in without hesitation caring for me, loving on me, taking care of our couples, and reminding me exactly why I built Gathered the way I did.

The vendor community has done the same. The vendors who have checked in, prayed for me, sent messages, and offered help has meant more than I can say. This industry is so much more than business - it’s people, relationships, and community. 🤍

Gathered has never just been about beautiful weddings. Our heart is to care for our couples, support them through one of the biggest seasons of their lives, and reflect the love of Christ in every interaction.

Beautiful details matter. A perfectly executed wedding day matters. But the people, relationships, and the way we love others along the way matter so much more.

So if you’re new around here, hi! 👋🏼 I’m Bailey -a wedding planner, mom, wife, and business owner, and most importantly, someone incredibly grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness through every season.

Every detail of this tablescape was chosen with a purpose 🤍

The goal was to create something that felt elevated and beautiful, but still warm, organic, and inviting.

Our amazing florist brought in natural grasses and greenery to add movement and texture throughout the table, keeping the floral design feeling a little more unexpected and organic. Soft satin linens gave us a clean foundation, while the candlelight, crystal glassware, table lamps, and fresh fruit added layers of warmth and personality.

We love how all of these little details came together to make the table feel special without feeling overdone. This design felt thoughtful, personal, and completely connected to the space, which is always the goal.

THIS is what it looks like when your vendor team is truly on the same page for wedding day. 🤍

One of the things we deeply value is creating a vendor team that feels like one cohesive team working toward the same goal - giving our couple the absolute best day possible.

And while it may look effortless on wedding day, getting to this point takes months of preparation, communication, collaboration, and intentional planning.

It’s the timeline that’s been reviewed (and reviewed again). It’s the vendor details that have been communicated well in advance. It’s knowing who is doing what, when they’re doing it, and what needs to happen next. It’s the conversations between vendors before the wedding day ever arrives. It’s anticipating needs before they become problems. And it’s having a team that genuinely cares about the experience, not just their individual piece of the day.

When everyone is informed, prepared, and working together, you can feel the difference. That is when a wedding day can feel seamless, intentional, and effortless for the couple.

Our couples shouldn’t have to worry about what’s happening behind the scenes. They should be able to be fully present, to soak in the little moments, spend time with their people, and actually experience the day they spent so much time dreaming about.

And THAT is why we believe so strongly in the importance of a great vendor team. 🤍
