This year Mother's Day hit a little different but yet the same in a sense. My Granny Joann Johnson would have been right here with us surrounding her. Although she wasn't here with us in the body she was definitely with us in spirit. Her presence has sorely been missed.

Every year for many years we always honor the matriarchs of family during this time but this year I decided to honor the women of my family differently by inviting them to brunch at my home with flowers, good tastin' wine, food, fellowship, laughter and lots of love.

These are some of the strongest women that I know that loves like non other.

Happy Mother's Day to these special ladies my mother Valarie Johnson, my Aunts Inez Lawrence and Tomesa Davis, and my cousins Atkinson and Brenda Carson.

I love y'all so much and hope that you enjoyed all that was and is in store for you!💞
