There’s a sacred stillness on the mountain today — the kind that invites you to pause, breathe, and remember.

Good Friday isn’t easy. It’s heavy. It holds grief, sacrifice, and silence. But it also holds love — deep, selfless, unimaginable love.

As we reflect on the cross, we’re reminded that even in our darkest moments, we are not alone.
Here in this quiet place, we feel it: the weight of what Jesus carried, and the hope that’s coming.

“By His wounds, we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5

🕊️ Maundy Thursday at Fort Mountain 🕊️
As the sun sets over the quiet stillness of the mountain, we pause to remember the night Jesus knelt to serve and broke bread with His closest friends.

Maundy Thursday is a call to humility, to love without condition, and to serve one another deeply.
At Fort Mountain Retreat and Conference Center, we’re reminded daily how sacred the quiet moments are — the simple acts of kindness, the shared meals, the footsteps taken toward grace.

Tonight, may we reflect on the heart of Christ: a heart that bends low to lift others up.
