It’s the most wonderful (and most requested!) time of the year—our ODAC Christmas Bazaar returns for another festive season on Small Business Saturday (November 28th from 8:00am - 4:00pm)!

Join us for a full day of holiday shopping featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of vendors offering handmade crafts, seasonal décor, unique gifts, and more—all under one roof.

🎁 Free Admission & Family Friendly: Come out, shop small, and support your local community this holiday season!

✨ A Curated Vendor Experience
To preserve the quality and tradition of this beloved event, the ODAC Christmas Bazaar is centered around handmade, handcrafted, and locally produced goods.

In recent years, we’ve seen an increase in resale and non-seasonal items due to the original "first-come, first-served" vendor application process. Moving forward, this event will operate under a curated vendor selection process to ensure a well-balanced and high-quality shopping experience.

We welcome vendors offering:
- Handmade and handcrafted goods
- Artisan and agricultural products (including local farms)
- Boutique clothing and small businesses with giftable items
- A limited number of direct sales vendors (approved in moderation)
- All vendors must offer Christmas-themed, seasonal, or gift-appropriate items that align with the spirit of the event.

🚫 Vendors offering mass-produced resale items or products not aligned with a holiday market atmosphere may not be accepted.

🍪 Food & Beverage Policy
Due to health department regulations, vendors are not permitted to prepare or sell food or beverages for immediate consumption onsite. This includes items such as “dirty sodas,” mixed drinks, and similar offerings.

Pre-packaged, properly labeled food items may be considered but must meet all applicable guidelines and approval from the VA Department of Health.

📝 Vendor Application Process
This year, vendor applications will follow a structured application and review process rather than first-come, first-served placement. More information will be updated here and on the ODAC website tab (https://www.theodac.com/10th-annual-christmas-bazaar) on June 1st, 2026.

Application Window Opens: June 1

Application Window Closes: July 1

Vendors will be notified of their acceptance status following the review period (you will be notified before the end of July).

Once the application window opens, vendors may submit their application in one of the following ways:
- Scan and email to [email protected]
- Mail to: 19783 US Hwy 29, Suite G, Chatham, VA 24531
- Submit online via a link (provided at https://www.theodac.com/10th-annual-christmas-bazaar)

Please note: Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

If you have any questions or if you would like to be added to the vendor email list please either send us a message on Facebook or email [email protected].

🤠 Fun Fact Friday: Cutting Horses 🤠

Did you know that cutting horse competitions are designed to showcase a horse’s natural ability to work cattle? 🐄 During a run, the rider separates a single cow from the herd, then allows the horse to work with minimal rein contact as it mirrors and blocks the cow’s movements to keep it from returning to the herd.

Cutting horses are known for their quick reflexes, athletic stops and turns, and strong “cow sense” — the instinctive ability to anticipate a cow’s next move. The partnership and trust between horse and rider are what make this sport so impressive to watch!

Join us this weekend at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex to catch all the cutting horse action!
