August, we know you so well.
The soft whisper and reminder of the last hook of summer—Augustitis.
The love and the angst of summer coming and going so fast.
The petals that bloom and then peel away.
Such is life—the ebb and flow, just like the ocean that surrounds us.
Summer may feel fleeting, but somehow, it also feels endless.
Because the endless summer is always there—in the salt on our skin, the flowers we gathered, the long golden evenings, and the memories we carry into every season that follows.
An ode to this summer.
A love note to all the adventures, the beauty, the people, the flowers, the laughter, and even the longing that comes with knowing it cannot stay.
Maybe that is what makes summer so beautiful.
It blooms wildly, asks us to be here for it, and then slowly lets go.
And so do we.
Petal by petal.
Tide by tide.
Holding onto a little endless summer wherever we go.
But it’s not just summer that is so beautiful, next season and chapter to love and live.
