You never start a business thinking about the day you’ll have to close it.
You start with excitement, crossed fingers, and a lot of “Can we really do this?” moments. Then one day the doors open, families come, birthday parties fill the calendar, and somehow… it works.
But, As many of you know, our family’s priorities and needs have changed over time, and while we hoped to pass Play Date on to a new owner, we unfortunately can no longer afford the high cost of our current space and will need to close. We tried really hard to negotiate a better rate, but no luck.
This isn’t the ending we hoped for, but we know it’s the right decision for our family.
Our final day at Play Date will be June 25th.
We’ll also be having a large sale the last weekend in June with equipment, toys, furniture, décor, and more . Details coming soon.
Most importantly, thank you. Thank you to every family who supported us, celebrated birthdays with us, attended events, or simply spent part of your day at Play Date. We truly appreciate all of the love and support over the years ❤️
