Ever wanted to try needle felting? 🧶 Livin Creative is bringing a hands-on workshop to the Looking Glass, and it's the perfect fit for a space that already feels a little magical and curious.

You'll spend the evening learning the basics of needle felting while creating your own vibrant 2D slug or snail out of colorful wool 🐌

No experience needed. All tools and materials are provided, so all you have to do is show up ready to get a little messy and make something colorful, quirky, and completely your own to take home.

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA's biggest party of the year is coming to Ix Art Park! 🐾 ⁠

Fall Fest is the CASPCA's largest adoption event of the year, celebrating everything that makes second chances possible for animals in our community. ⁠

Admission is free, with 45+ vendors, free adoptions all weekend thanks to Piedmont Tire, trick-or-treating, inflatables, face painting, the dog costume contest, the dog pie-eating contest, a raffle, and flash tattoos.⁠

🐶😺 Adoptable dogs and cats will be on site looking for their forever homes.⁠

📣 Ewa Harr, Executive Director of the IX Arts Foundation, recently spoke to Charlottesville City Council. She spoke in support of a Community Development Block Grant that could potentially fund a more accessible stage, an inclusive children's garden, and better shade, seating, and lighting throughout the Art Park.

The goal is a park that stays free and unmistakably IX, creative, immersive, and full of art, while working better for the whole community. 🎨
