For all you recently engaged couples, there’s a lot of decisions to be made. Here are some tips, straight from a wedding planner:⁠

1️⃣ Congratulations! Enjoy this sweet moment. Take it all in. 🍾⁠

2️⃣ Write out a guest list. This can be an A list + B list. Your guest count decides the size your venue needs to be, and also is the biggest factor in determining your budget.⁠

3️⃣ Figure out what that budget number is. I know this is much easier said than done! ⁠
⁠
4️⃣ Try to keep your venue + catering to around 50% of your budget. This gives you the ability to afford everything else you want included in your day! If it’s not adding up, you may need to lower your guest count, increase your budget, or expand your venue search.⁠

5️⃣ Hire a wedding planner who can honor your budget, ensure your money is well spent, and that your day is absolutely amazing!⁠
