I hope you all have enjoyed getting to know Pronovias a little better this month, from the new dresses joining our collection to some of our incredible Pronovias brides throughout the years.

This has been an especially fun designer for me to share because Pronovias is one of the designers I sold when I first started in bridal nearly 20 years ago. And yes, the second photo is generated, largely because moody college Kelsey does not need a permanent place on the feed. But the Pronovias poster is very real. I genuinely had a promotional poster hanging over my bed in two different college apartments. Apparently, some things really do come full circle.

Pronovias has always been known for classic bridal silhouettes with a fashion-forward edge. Their royal satin gowns circa 2007–2010 are still some of the absolute heaviest dresses I have ever had to lift, but the elegance and presence that made those gowns so memorable has stayed with the brand throughout the years. That is part of why I am so excited about what we are seeing from Pronovias right now. This collection feels like a return to the things they have always done best: beautiful fabrics, incredible structure, timeless silhouettes, and just enough of a fashion point of view to make them feel special. And judging by the response these dresses are already getting in the salon, our brides are feeling it too.

It has been so much fun spending August celebrating a designer that has been part of my bridal career almost from the very beginning. I can’t wait to see where Pronovias goes next, and which of these gowns become part of our brides’ stories in the years to come.

Rhea Update: Rhea is a full 6 months old now and has definitely hit her rebellion stage and is questioning how much she has to listen to her boss. She is getting much bolder about greeting people and still believes everyone must pay her attention. We are working on not jumping on people and not biting shoelaces. She is still making great progress in her role as emotional support dog here at The One. Our weekday brides usually get the chance to meet with Rhea. She is not yet ready for a fully booked Saturday.

A little Pronovias preview before our trunk show begins this weekend ✨

These are the newest Pronovias gowns to arrive at The One this season, and we couldn’t think of a better time to show them off.

Our Pronovias Trunk Show runs August 21–29, and all Pronovias gowns will be 10% off when ordered during the event.

We are officially fully booked for both weekends, and we are so excited to spend them celebrating one of our longtime favorite designers with so many of you. 🤍

Ahead of the weekend, we wanted to give these newest arrivals their moment. So many beautiful new details, silhouettes, and reasons we continue to love Pronovias season after season.

The high neck halter neckline is one of the most flattering necklines, but it is also the neckline our bride's are most hesitant to try. However, we loved Zevia by Pronovias so much, we decided to bring her to the store anyway.

Not only does Zevia feature a stunning lace bodice and low back, she also features a removable overskirt! The a-line tulle skirt has a chatilly lace underskirt to really set it apart. But, when the overskirt is removed, you are left with a classic crepe fit and flare skirt.

One thing you will be seeing a lot this season is a ressurgance of overskirts, and we are completely on board with this trend! Which version of Zevia do you prefer, with the overskirt or without?

We love our sales reps and are so thankful so many of them are so amazing. Karry with Pronovias is no exception and kindly shared some reasons why she loves Pronovias.

But our favorite piece deserved to be shared in its entirety: "On a more personal note, my connection to Pronovias actually began long before I ever worked for the company. In 1989, my parents traveled to Barcelona, and while exploring the city my dad stopped in front of the Pronovias flagship store. He was so captivated by the beauty and elegance of the window display that he took a photograph of it simply because he thought it was beautiful. At the time, he could never have imagined that decades later his daughter would build a career representing the brand. That story has stayed with me because it speaks to something special about Pronovias. The beauty, craftsmanship, and artistry have a way of capturing people's attention and imagination, even when they have no connection to the bridal world. Looking back, it feels a bit like coming full circle."

We love how brands can impact so much more than just the brides who wear their dresses. They really help bring beauty to this world.

Latzuli by combined two things our brides have been asking for recently: cap sleeves and an open back.

The effortless drape of the chiffon skirt finishes this dress off to perfection. But it is really the lace up back that steals the show. There are so many venues around Charlottesville where I could see this dress walking down the aisle.

I am so excited to start introducing the Pronovias 2027 collection! Let me start this post though with the statement that I do not typically try on wedding gowns. In fact, I can't remember the last time I actually wanted to try one on. But this dress, this dress was special because when we went to the Pronovias Preview in New York, I allowed my daughter one dress pick. Drysdal was her pick.

When this dress came in and I realized she was my size, I had to try her on for my girl. When I was shopping for my wedding dress, there were many reasons I didn't have "the moment" I watch my bride's have. But when I put this dress on, it really was the moment of oh, so this is how this feels!

In all honesty, this dress was not my favorite when my daughter picked it, but it is hands down one of my all time favorite dresses now. The lace is soft, the fit is beautiful, and the neckline is so unique and absolutely stunning. I truly cannot wait to meet the bride who also gets the feeling that Drysdal is "the one". She is truly a special dress.

Before we introduce the newest Pronovias collection arriving at The One, we wanted to take a moment to look back.

These gowns have already been part of so many incredible love stories, and seeing how each bride made her dress completely her own is one of the greatest reminders that a gown is never just a gown. It’s the confidence you feel, the memories you make, and the beginning of a new chapter.
