By the time you’re seeing this, I should be in NYC, and around noon today I get my first look at Caroline Castigliano ’s newest collection. I cannot wait to see what she has created this season!

While I wait, I thought this was the perfect time to share a little behind the scenes from one of Caroline’s recent collections, shot at the beautiful Kew Gardens.

For more than 30 years, Caroline Castigliano has been creating gowns in the UK, becoming known for incredible corsetry, beautiful fabrics, and a fit that is truly something special. Her designs feel timeless and classic, but there is almost always an unexpected detail or edge that makes them unmistakably Caroline.

This little glimpse behind the scenes captures so much of what I love about the world she creates.

For Corry and Dave, this day was about more than the two of them. It was about their family coming together, celebrating the life they’ve built and the people who are part of it. 🤍

From a ceremony surrounded by their children (and one very handsome four-legged family member) to a reception filled with personal details, their wedding felt completely and beautifully theirs.

And in a month where we’re celebrating all things , getting to share Corry in her Caroline gown feels especially perfect. Timeless, elegant and completely her.

Congratulations, Corry & Dave. What a beautiful family, and what a beautiful day to celebrate them.

Luna has been one of our most loved Caroline Castigliano gowns, and there are so many reasons why.

The lace on this dress really sets her apart. Caroline layers a traditional corded Alencon lace over a delicate Chantilly lace, which gives the gown a beautiful depth and dimension. It is the kind of detail you may not immediately be able to name, but you can absolutely see the difference it makes. Also, in the age of modern lace, I absolutely love the traditional lace of this dress and the effortless timelessness it brings.

However, I think my favorite thing about Luna is how many ways you can make her your own. Wear her strapless, add the lace sleeves, or completely change the look with either the long sleeve or short sleeve shrug. This is a gown that each bride can truly make her own and can change throughout the night.

This will not be the only time you see Luna this month, but she just felt like the perfect dress to start our Caroline conversation. Now tell me, which way would you wear Luna?

There are things I find myself saying again and again as I work with brides. Things I wish brides worried about less. Things I wish they trusted themselves more on. Things that could probably fill a book but already made a long blog post, so I had to stop somewhere.

Those of you who have shopped with me probably have heard most if not all of these pieces of advice.

But, if you’re shopping for your wedding dress now, or know that you will be soon, I hope there is something in here that makes the whole experience feel a little easier, a little happier, and a lot more like your own.

There is something about a Caroline gown that just feels different. The structure, the fabrics, the way each dress is designed to fit and flatter the body. It is luxury you can see, but even more importantly, luxury you can feel when you put one on.

These gowns are timeless and elegant, but never boring. They make a statement without needing to shout, and they have that incredible ability to make the bride wearing them feel like the most beautiful, confident version of herself.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some of the reasons this collection has such a special place in my heart, and, of course, plenty of beautiful dresses along the way.

Today The One is closed. When I bought The One last year, I had no idea just how much owning this little store would add to my life. It has given me more than I ever could have expected, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to call this my job.

Of course, taking over a business was a big change for my whole family, too. While we were figuring out what this new adventure would look like for all of us, I made my daughter one promise: no matter what day it fell on, I would never work on her birthday.

So, October 2 will always be hers. The Mom in me would make no other choice. The business owner in me who realizes I have to close on a Saturday next year is slightly less thrilled about it. But there was never a question, I will always keep my promises. Nothing is more important to me than my girl and being there to celebrate her.

That feels like a pretty perfect first thing to share as you get to know a little more about the person behind The One this October.

Not going to lie, the start of this month hits a little different. Today marks the one-year anniversary since I became the owner of The One. A whole year of getting to put my heart into this beautiful place, making it my own, learning as I go, celebrating some incredible highs, navigating a few hard lows, and getting to be part of such a special moment for so many brides.

It’s hard to put into words what this past year has meant to me. The One was special to me long before it was mine, but getting to call it mine, and getting to shape what comes next, has been more meaningful than I ever could have imagined.

So October is going to be a little different. I’ll be introducing the last designer of the month, who also happens to be my absolute favorite. But I also want to spend this month letting you get to know a little more about me. Because after a year of getting to know so many of you, I think it’s only fair you get to know me a little better too.

Excited to see what October will bring.

September gave us so many good moments: The brides who knew almost immediately. The ones who needed to sit with it for a minute. The ones who surprised themselves with what they chose. The moms, sisters and friends who knew from the look on her face before she even said a word.

To our September brides: thank you for trusting us with this part of your story. We cannot wait to see where these dresses go next.

We promised more, and we certainly had more. Part Two of celebrating some of the many brides who have chosen Jenny Yoo for their wedding days. Looking through these photos, what we love most is just how different every bride, dress, and wedding is — and how incredibly happy they all look.

Getting to help each of these women choose her dress and then seeing the photos from the day she finally got to wear it is one of the best parts of what we do.
