🔥☀️ BBQ, sunshine, laughter, and our amazing dance family! ❤️💃🕺

What a wonderful day we had at Chris Greene Lake Park!

Today, our Fred Astaire Dance Studio – Charlottesville students came together for a fun summer BBQ — delicious food, beautiful weather, games, great conversations, lots of laughter, and simply enjoying each other’s company. 🌳🔥

There is something so special about seeing our dance family together outside the studio.

Dancing is what brought us together. 💃🕺
It’s where we met, where friendships began, and where so many wonderful connections continue to grow.

And days like today remind us just how much those connections mean.

We laughed. We ate. We relaxed. We shared stories. We spent time with old friends and got to know new ones a little better.

This is our dance community. This is our dance family. ❤️

A group of people who may have originally walked through the studio doors simply wanting to learn how to dance — and somehow found themselves surrounded by friends, laughter, support, and people they truly enjoy spending time with.

That’s one of the beautiful things about dancing: it brings people together.

And when those people become friends, the memories don’t stop when the music does. ❤️

Today’s BBQ was another one of those memories — a beautiful summer day spent together with people who make our studio such a special place.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and made it so much fun! We are so grateful for every laugh, every conversation, every dance, and every moment we get to share together.
