One year ago this past weekend, I celebrated a milestone I’ll never forget—my one-year anniversary since my double mastectomy.
There were moments I didn’t know what life would look like on the other side, but by God’s grace, I’m still here.
Since then, I’ve continued to show up for my community, my family, my businesses, and the work I believe God has called me to do. Even while recovering from another surgery this past March, I kept moving forward one step at a time.
Today, I’m simply grateful.
Grateful for healing.
Grateful for purpose.
Grateful for every opportunity.
Grateful for every person who has supported me along this journey.
And to everyone who has taken the time to vote for me for Best in Black Cville—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly never expected this nomination, and honestly, I don’t usually make posts asking for votes.
But if my story, my work, or my commitment to serving this community has impacted you in any way, I’d be honored to have your vote.
There’s a reason I’m still here.
There’s a reason I survived.
Now it’s time to thrive. 🤍✨
Thank you for believing in me. Every vote, every prayer, every word of encouragement means more than you know.
