SOMA is a plant, a drink, an ancient Hindu God. SOMA is one of the most mysterious subjects in Hindu religion. The SOMA drink was made from the Soma plant and would be consumed by warriors before battle to obtain immortality and enlightenment. Consumers of the SOMA drink also take on feelings of euphoria. It is our desire for the patrons at all SOMA Entertainment Events to gain that same enlightenment and euphoria!

In light of the disturbing personal accounts shared from numerous individuals against our former partner Sam Throckmorton, all remaining partners have acted to formally shut down SOMA Entertainment.

As a showing of solidarity with the community we have considered how to move forward respecting everyone involved, and believe it is best to cease operations at this time.

To be candid our team is appalled by what we have learned. We feel angry, manipulated, and embarrassed by our former partner’s actions. These allegations absolutely do not represent our personal or professional beliefs, and we wholeheartedly stand behind those affected.

Although we sorrowfully share this as our last message, we want to thank all of our family, friends, and supporters for the continuous inspiration. SOMA Entertainment would not have been the same without your energy and enthusiasm for building such a passionate community; We Love You All 🖤

*Official Statement Regarding Ownership Change*

In the wake of direct accusations against one of our founders, numerous steps and precautionary measures have been taken to remove this person from all company related matters.

SOMA Entertainment has always, and will continue to be a community-based collective serving our area with a priority focus on safety, family, and entertainment. Our core values are based in the beliefs that we will never tolerate assault of any kind, and that providing a safe environment for all to enjoy is an absolute requirement of concert culture.

With that being said, all event affiliates involved with the upcoming Halloween and NYE events have directed the remaining partners to cancel those shows, and as such, we will automatically refund tickets directly through the original point of purchase. These cancellations will allow time for completion of a thorough investigation on the matter and to assure any future events will be hosted with the utmost quality and safety.

Given the seriousness of these allegations, our team has done everything within our power to independently corroborate any claims made. Genuine due diligence attempts have been made, and given new information coming to light we have acted as diligently as possible.

Our community and its efforts are not defined by the actions of any single person, and we look forward to continuing serving you in the future with the same quality and dedication you’ve always expected from our team. We apologize for any harm caused, and pledge to continue working tirelessly to uphold the highest event standards available.
