A Popular Affair was born out of the heart of a NC southern home cook and event planner, Shone' Williams. Shone' has over 15 years experience in planning parties since she was very young. Her father, DJ "Sunny" Williams, made his stamp in the world of entertainment through music, event planning, acting, and spinning records since before she was born. "Music and the creative arts are all around me. My grandmother was a poet and a creative cook whom created numerous games and forms of entertainment for various functions. I learned my style of cooking and the importance of food presentation from my magnificent mother. I have been planning parties for friends and family for so long, I have always wanted to make it a profession. I always seemed to have a gift of creating a unique party that everyone keeps talking about. The parties and events that I plan seem to be quite popular!"
