I am a professional face painter who got started at Disney World. I went to school at Full Sail University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Design. I was interning at a magazine and graphic design firm and needed a paying job to keep the lights on. It ended up being a face painting job through a company called Enjoy Your Face. I graduated through their training program and got my certifi
cation. Enjoy Your Face contracts the face painters into all of the theme parks in Orlando (Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios). I worked at Epcot, Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom as a face painter. Disney World is the happiest place on earth and I enjoyed it so much that I continued working full time as a face painter even after my internships ended. Opting to work as freelance designer allowed me to keep my job at Disney. A few years later I married my college sweetheart, who is from Charlotte. We moved here and began growing our family. I put my career aspirations on hold to focus on being a stay at home mother. We now have five children, four girls and one boy. They range from 11 - 1 year(s) old. Since they've gotten a little bit older, I've been face painting at their birthday parties the past several years. I'd had so many jobs from other parents, friends, and family that I've officially grown into a full-time business. My passion for art and love for children has taken me down a fun and exciting path. I used my background in Arts and Design to create my branding package. From there, I've continued to grow. I've painted for a number of local businesses, festivals, local “celebrities” and social media Influencers as well as private parties. I can face paint any event. I even book private one on one sessions for a special evening such as New Years or Halloween. My award winning artwork has gained recognition and been published and featured in print and online. This is more than a job for me, it’s a passion. I would have never thought a "temporary" job would turn into a such a passion and completely change the direction of my career and life. I am excited to see what the future holds!
