1987 Porsche 959

This specific vehicle has never been titled. It was shipped from Germany directly to GM to be used as a track car on The Proving Grounds.

The 959 was not legal in the USA. It had not been properly tested for safety and therefore it was not legal stateside. Then how did GM get their hands on one? GM's main purpose was to study the monumental performance of this supercar, reverse engineer its components and help get the ZR1 over 200mph. The legacy of The 959 is that it set new standards of Luxury and Performance ahead of its time.

The last documented time this car was run was back in 2009 when 5 gallons of fuel was added. After which it sat as a Museum piece for GM as a reminder of the collaborative effort between two GM and Porsche.

HAPPY 1st LEAP YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

This was such a special and unique engagement session that I hold near and dear to my heart.

Let my explain...

These two not only braved the 36 degree weather in Charlotte for a sunrise session and knocked it out of the park, but these two held an initiate wedding ceremony (with family) ingredien after.

YES you read that right... A wedding ceremony on 2/29/20. Fun fact, they met on the 2016 so they had to do something special to commemorate their unique start of their love story.

But that wasn’t all, immediately after their ceremony, they had a brunch planned with friends and colleagues who thought they were getting together to celebrate their engagement session... But to their surprise, they were ACTUALLY present to celebrate their wedding day.

It was truly an honor to capture such a momentous chapter in the lives of this INCREDIBLE bride and groom. Thank you for the fun memory. Amanda & Charlie. I cannot wait to see what next Adventures God has in store for you guys!
