Good Morning World! Today I have to stop and say Thank you and To God Be The Glory! This weekend Soirees Entertainment stepped out on faith with hosting 2 Big Book Events - Our Annual Book Scoot and a Masquerade Ball. Saturday we were at Camp North End and it was unseasonably hot and windy for an April day but I had 10 local authors come out and promote their books and products. After checking with everyone they all made sales! So that means it was a success. Thank you That's Novel Books we would not do this without you! I, Soirees Entertainment makes no money from this event but that is not what it is about. I developed it to help local authors like my Sister have a way to promote and sell books. This was the 4th Book Scoot and I am very happy with how it has grown. We even got featured in Queen City Nerve!
That was Saturday then we come to Sunday and our Masquerade Ball. This event was totally about Delphine McClelland and her book Dark Obsessions. The Ball was themed from her book and had that dark mysterious but sexy vibe. This Ball was a 2 year task. I researched and met with lots of different people to brainstorm on how to make this work. So I stop now to say Thank you to each and everyone that provided insight, suggestions, promotions and even those that said great idea but it is not something we can do at this time! We did it! The Masquerade Ball was a success! People came and loved the venue.. shout out to The Blind Fox what a Gem and they asked questions and wanted to know more about the book Dark Obsessions and it's amazing author! I couldn't stop smiling! It was truly an amazing weekend and how I started this post I will end it...TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!

We did it!!! For a long time we were told "NO" this would not work but we never took no for an answer. So Thank you to all the people who helped us get this done. We had a Ball...lol Ken and Melinda you are amazing! as always...stealler!! And the dessert table was a hit...those chocolate covered strawberries....GURL!!!!!

We were able to connect with some old friends and make some new ones, we promoted and Dark Obsessions and even sold books! This event was absolutely amazing and we look forward to doing it again next year!
