The last week has been all about gratitude and attitude. What are you really grateful for in 2019? I have a ton that I’m thankful for but honestly my family and my friends get the biggest shoutout on this special day.

At the beginning of 2019 with my wife on deployment and I was very unsure what my future was going to be professionally. Honestly, it was a terrifying thing to think about because I had been out of radio, clubs, and away from the Hornets for more than a year. On the flip side, I went back to school to get my masters degree while I was on away and it gave me a great outlook of what I can accomplish in the future. Move forward to May 2019 when Kelli got home. We found out we were relocating to Raleigh, NC and I just knew that when I got back to the east coast, it was time to turn up. Then… Life hit us! We bought a huge home that needed some work and it was my last semester and the work was a doozy. My passion simply became second.

As I look to what’s ahead for 2020, I’m thankful to my friends that push me to get back to my passion with no distractions. I’m sooo thankful for beautiful my wife for always having my back no matter the circumstance and reminding me that we are in this together.
