In Honor of Black History and leaning into Women’s History Month, DBH created a gallery for highlighting quotes from a few remarkable Black Women for patrons to take a moment and reflect upon with hopes of encouragement and enlightenment while also basking in the blooms to celebrate our softness. See the activation on the third floor at Ovation Hollywood which will be featured until the end of March.
A few of (Her) Thoughts going into March:
1. Keep shining. As difficult as this may be sometimes. Your light may blind or be “too much” for some but you are made from the light that shines from within. That Source is eternal. The world may try to dim your glow but don’t let them, remember that’s their business and not yours.
2. Softness is your birthright. Not for someone to grant you but for you to claim and hold onto despite all that goes on around you. Despite all that is required or requested of you. Take care of that tenderness inside of you. That gentle nature. Don’t let the world harden you.
3. When you look in the mirror, really take a good look. And love what you see. Flaws and all. Because there’s only one you and you are Love. Rooted in it. And it all starts with you.
Happy & 🖤✨
