Networking with a Purpose July event was fantastic. Thanks Nancy White the education on elevator speeches. Our featured business was Cherrie Shepard with the National Black Business Owners Association, Bridging the Wealth Gap through Entrepreneurship. For more information please visit www.nbboaonline.com. Non-profits were A Hero's Ball who work with our local Veterans and The Nevins Center who work with Adults with Disabilities. Mark your calendars for September 14th. Guess who received an award last night during the black tie event for A Hero's Ball?
AHB is a nonprofit organization supporting our local Veterans. The event was held at The Mint Museum. Congresswoman Alma Adams was the keynote speaker. I count it truly a blessing to be able support this worthy organization.
