Friends and family, please share and help us to get donations to CCMP for WNC communities!
We have an opportunity to help our local communities in need that have been affected by Hurricane Helene.
Several of our CCMP church members are taking turns traveling to different communities of WNC with loads of supplies and will be taking trips for weeks as needed, as supplies come in and as available to access locations in need.
If anyone is able to help, please bring your donations to the church and drop them off. To set up drop offs you can contact me at 704.886.8132. Please do not fall for any scams asking you to send money online or gift cards online, etc. only drop off at the church office with one of our staff!
If you would like to assist in traveling and helping with our team, please reach out to Keith Furr, Nathan Christy or Jeff Taylor Sr. We will need lots of folks to help with cutting trees, tearing out wet sheet rock/carpet, damaged furniture, cleaning up… and just talking and praying with people!
Below are items we are accepting immediately, more to follow as we see additional needs:
-Buckets
-Rakes
-Shovels
-Construction gloves
-Canned Food and manual can openers
-Water (bottles, gallons)
-Baby wipes
-Mixed fuel for chainsaws
-Chainsaws/spare chains, chain lubricants
-Tools to cut sheetrock
-Skidsteers
-Trailers to haul supplies/equipment
-Large/thick trash bags
-Cleaning supplies
-FUEL!!!!! And gas cans/tanks to transport fuel (we have heard this is critical right now)!
-Propane tanks (filled for cooking)
-Generators
-Gift cards/cash for above supplies (only drop off in person at the church please)
