reminiscing about this interpretation on rebirth. All my work is this. Yes, I am aware. I love to remind people of this cycle we’re constantly involved in. Death to the old self, birth of the new. I’ve gone through so many things in the last two years to stray from the self I became, only to find what I think is shaping up to be the best version of me yet. This installation was a proud moment for me. paid me to put my floral on display in their museum. My art (and the art of the greater IRIS blossom) gets purchased every day, but this meant something more significant. It meant that people all over were seeing what I can do and trusting me to execute. Kenna, Allie, and I are getting on flights to head to LA this weekend. We’re doing our first event on the west coast, and logistically it’s been stressful to know if things are going to work out. But one thing about IRIS blossom, and life: it always works out in the end and it’s more beautiful than you’d ever imagine. So let this grace your timeline today and if you’re going through your own rebirth, remember that you’re shining through.
