This weekend was special in so many ways, but mainly because I got to witness my oldest friend marry her best friend. I have known Nicole for over 22 years and this weekend I got to walk with her as she walked into the next chapter as a wife. I can't put into words how happy I am for Nicole + Colin, and getting to walk alongside them not only as a planner, but also as a close friend, has been such a special chapter. 🤍

Yes, but it’s one of the most meaningful days of your life, and you only get one chance to experience it exactly as it unfolds.

Your reception space will take on so many different versions throughout the day. From the quiet chaos of install in the morning, to a perfectly styled room waiting with intention for each guest, to the candlelit dinner conversations, and finally the beautifully messy version at the end of the night that says, “we had the best night of our lives.”

One room. A hundred little transformations. And somehow, every version tells part of the story.

Style a draped linen bar with me!

The Rotunda in The Gibbes Museum of Art is stunning as a stand-alone. For cocktail hour, we wanted to highlight the beauty and romance of the space while still focusing our budget on the beautiful reception to come. So, I came up with this romantic, drapery forward design that would hold the integrity of the design while still being mindful of our investment. I absolutely love the statement piece it became as the center of cocktail hour!

Plus, we only had 45 minutes to load-in and setup in this space before guests arrived for cocktail hour, so I am extra grateful for teammates who had everything steamed and ready so I could jump right in with my stitch gun and make it all come to life!

A moment for Mrs. Rachel Williams 🤍

Truly radiant on her wedding day, inside and out. Rachel has an energy that is magnetic; she makes everyone she encounters feel loved, seen, and supported. This sentiment was echoed all weekend long by those closest to her, which is a true testament to how lovely she truly is. She even took a moment from her wedding toast to honor all the mothers choosing to celebrate Mother's Day with them in Charleston, and honored her little sister who was missing her graduation to stand by her side with a moment to be given her diploma in front of all her family surrounding her. The kind of beauty that can only come from within and shines so brightly that no one can miss it ✨
