9 days til Christmas!! Also, the last time I posted here was over a month ago!! Yikes!! Im all done with sessions for the year just getting galleries done and delivered now! Hoping to be done by the weekend! Not gonna lie, my mind is ready to clock out and just enjoy the holidays and a much needed few weeks of break! I ask a lot of my clients to throw out songs we can listen to during our session or Ill play something random, and they gave me a classic. “Cant Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley, cuz it’s one of their oldest son’s favorite song and was his lullaby. Ugh, it was perfect!!! They danced as a family and it was the most precious thing to watch!

Hi folks! I promise Im still around!! Life’s been pretty hectic and ok, ok, ive said it a million times, I just reallly reallly suck at posting new photos on this handle! 🙈 But here’s some of my tribe from a quick weekend getaway upstate a few weeks ago! We watched the sunrise on the mountains! After 4.5 months, we finally got to step out of Charleston. If you know us, thats the longest we’ve ever stayed put. We’re usually out and about traveling! So it was nice little getaway!

Also, my October calendar is now closed and only doing limited sessions in November and will only be opening the first weekend in December! So if you’re wanting a session, please book soon! 💛

I really suck when it comes to posting here 🙈 Ive had this draft saved on my “things I need to post” list and keep forgetting!

Anyway, this family is my longest clients. Theyve been with me since the year after I started photographing other people aside from family. And I cannot thank them enough for trusting me time and again! Ive photographed all 3 of these babies as newborns, their first birthdays (minus the youngest obviously lol), and annual holiday photos!! From Va to SC! It truly has been an honor watching your family grow! 💕

Oh hello friend!

I’m Jenn! A San Diego native, military wife, mama to two wildlings and a fur baby, teacher, and photographer. Plant lover, adventure seeker, traveler.

I have been capturing memories for people since 2014, and took a two year break when I had my second child in 2017. We recently relocated to the Charleston area and I have decided to reopen my business, as well as a rebrand. This business page was previously, Simply Beyoutiful Photography, but as of late last year, I have finally decided to take a step away from it and rebrand to using my actual name. Why? I wanted people to know the actual person behind the camera and to make an instant connection to who I am and what better way than actually knowing my name. Starting over will be difficult, as I have to rebuild my client base, but Im hopeful. I always look forward to meeting new clients, who eventually turn into friends and help them capture life's most amazing moments! I also hope to branch out to more lifestyle sessions (newborn, fresh 48). As of now, I am doing families, couples, maternity, lifestyle. Whats my style? I don’t have a specific one. I edit base on the mood or the vibe of the session. I have been leaning towards the bold and warm editing styles lately. Sometimes I like them moody, sometimes I like them brighter, again it depends on the vibe of the session. I try to capture the real, raw moments and emotions from the sessions, as well as posed. I’m also always up to try something new! If you have an idea, we can collaborate and make it happen!
