Our chefs turned up the heat at Cruchella 🔥😎

Inspired by the vegetable forward flavors of the West Coast, our “Fire not Fyre” station brought the show and the flavor. Guests gathered around as romaine was charred live with a flamethrower, just steps from fire performers lighting up the night.

We were honored to be part of The Point’s fundraising event yesterday at Founders Hall, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Share Our Suzy.

This Lowcountry organization honors the legacy of Suzy McGrane by supporting breast cancer patients from diagnosis to remission and providing financial assistance so patients and families can focus on hope and healing.

🌻 Pan Seared Quail with Fig Jam and Balsamic over a salad of Shaved Fennel, Citrus Supremes, Arugula, and Shallots.

Our chefs used fresh figs from our garden to make the jam and the quail was provided by Manchester Farms .

Charleston’s food scene wasn’t built overnight. It was shaped by hands at the stove, voices in the kitchen, and friendships that held through years of service and change. This gathering brought many of those voices back to the same table. A group of OG Charleston chefs reunited to honor chefs Robert Carter and Philip Barton, two men who helped lay the foundation for what this community is today. There were many stories, moments of silence, and deep laughter that spoke to how much these lives mattered. Robert’s son Ben was there to hear it all, bringing this heartfelt evening full circle ❤️
