UPDATE ABOUT TOMORROW’S DAD JOKE EVENT // Sometimes the best punchlines need a little more setup! To make the Dad Joke Comedy Battle Fundraiser the best (and punniest) it can be, we’re moving the event to later this fall.

We’re so grateful for the excitement and support so far, and we promise it’ll be worth the wait. Bigger laughs and even more dad energy are on the way.

Richie Stearns and Rosie Newton take the fiddle & banjo combination to new levels as they continue to expand the boundaries of this tradition.

THURSDAY 7p //Straight from the Sowell - “The Life of Artist and Musician Ron Sowell” Premier Showing

From busking on the streets of his hometown when he was a kid to being the band leader for the internationally renowned Mountain Stage radio show, Ron Sowell has contributed to and become an integral part of his community in his adopted state of West Virginia. From award winning documentary producer and director, Bobby Lee Messer comes “Straight from the Soul - The Life of Artist and Musician Ron Sowell” The Capitol Theater in Charleston, WV will be showing the premiere and afterwards there will also be performances by several notable West Virginia artists. Scheduled to appear are Chris Haddox, Lady D, Jim Snyder and more including the man of the hour himself, Ron Sowell will do a couple of numbers. It will be an evening to remember! We’ll see you there. Suggested donation is $15 per person.
