The Town of James Island will be participating in the Hurricane Awareness Expo on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot.

Members of the Town's Emergency Management Team will be on-site at the Town of James Island booth to provide hurricane preparedness information and distribute emergency supply kits, along with other Town promotional items, while supplies last.

We encourage everyone to stop by, learn more about hurricane preparedness, and say hello!

Free Dental Day is one of the ways Palmetto Palace brings health and hope to South Carolina.

During this multi-day clinic, volunteer dentists, hygienists, and community partners provide no-cost exams, cleanings, extractions, and restorative care to uninsured and underinsured residents, relieving pain and restoring smiles. Because access to dental care should never be out of reach.
