Last Friday, March 22nd, we had the honor of hosting a truly special celebration at TTC Conference Services! Ms. Chisolm's 80th birthday party was a heartwarming tribute to her incredible journey as a cancer survivor.

Ms. Chisolm's resilience and strength inspire us all. Her 80th birthday was a reminder to cherish every moment and celebrate the triumph of the human spirit.

This past weekend, Conference Services at Trident Technical College hosted the Rodriguez/Fernandez wedding for Adriana and Stephano in our SC Aeronautical Skyview Room. Adriana's father officiated the ceremony.

For the second year in a row, Conference Services at TTC had the opportunity to host Synergy Counseling Services for their annual Christmas Party. Everyone arrived in their favorite Christmas pajamas and enjoyed a fun-filled night of food, Christmas music, and spreading Christmas cheer. The Grinch has nothing on this group, as the good old-fashioned holiday spirit was in abundance! Thank you to Synergy Counseling Services, and we look forward to having you back again next year!

This past weekend, Conference Services at Trident Technical College hosted the wedding of Freddi Rivers and Antwon Pendarvis. The wedding really showcased our newly remodeled college center. You could not mistake the elated emotions of Mr. and Mrs. Pendarvis as they viewed the room for the first time. Several guests complimented our facility and absolutely loved the upgrade.

The Beta Mu Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc. celebrated its 75th Anniversary last Saturday, November 18th at The College Center at Trident Technical College. It was a “bluetiful” night full of fun, fellowship, food, and dancing. They also honored members who have demonstrated the core principles of Phi Beta Sigma to the highest extent within their communities. We look forward to welcoming them back for their 76th next year!

“The Balm in Gilead’s Roadmap Tour brought a unique blend of preaching and teaching to North Charleston, SC last Saturday, August 19th. Charleston was the fourth of five cities to experience the Tour in 2023. The Roadmap Tour was a daylong, in-person Conference that offered fun & fellowship, and provided important information to Faith Leaders in the Charleston area who were either thinking about starting a health ministry at their church, or for those who wanted to expand upon their existing health ministry.

Some of those in attendance included local Pastors, Ministers, Health Directors, Coordinators, Nurses, and at-large Church members. The attendees enjoyed a morning Praise & Worship session, followed by several Guest Speakers. The afternoon consisted of a “Working Lunch,” followed by smaller Breakout Sessions – one on ‘Developing your church’s Health Ministry,’ and the other on ‘Strengthening your church’s Health Ministry.’

The attendees left the event feeling not only knowledgeable, but also motivated, divinely inspired, and ready to make a difference in the health status of their churches and communities.”

Palmetto Goodwill once again held their annual Shining Stars banquet this past week that included a fashion show auction.
Denim jeans were the focus of the show "Turning Jeans Into Dreams". Some of our very own lowcountry newscast members volunteered to walk the runway and showcase refashioned denim created by local artist.
