In view of USA Boxing's suspension of all boxing events, the Hometown Heroes Boxing Championships scheduled for March 13-14-15 is hereby cancelled. We are mandated to comply with all USA Boxing decisions. We will try to reschedule at a later date. Please notify your boxers so they can notify their parents. I do not want anyone making the trip only to find out there is no event. I am so sorry about this and the late notice by USA Boxing especially right before the weekend.

The deadline to sign up is Feb. 28. You can sign up at www.hometownheroesboxing.us. You must be registered with USA Boxing in order for your entry to be accepted. The event will be held at the Beni Kedem Shriners Temple in Charleston, WV on March 13-14-15.

BOXERS/COACHES please sign up for the 2020 National Hometown Heroes Boxing Championships in Charleston, WV March 13-14-15 at the Beni Kedem Shriners. Go to www.hometownheroesboxing.us to sign up and mail in your $25 entry fee as instructed. If we cannot match you, the entry fee will be refunded. Championship logo belts to all champions in all age and weight classes including open and novice. Runners-up will receive logo silver medals.

The 2020 Hometown Heroes Boxing National Championships will be March 13-14-15 at the Beni Kedem Shriners in Charleston, WV. Logo championship belts and logo gold medals will be awarded to all contested champions. Logo silver medals will be awarded to all runners-up. The session format will be as follows: Friday evening, Saturday noon, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. The entry fee will be $25 for each boxer which will be refunded if you are unopposed. The event is open to all registered male and female boxers. There will be a novice and open class. Let's make this the biggest and best yet. More details will follow. Please share this with your fellow coaches because Facebook limits me as to how many people I can contact.

The Hardknocks Training Center of Portsmouth, OH is having an event on July 20, 2019 at the Columbia Music Arena in Portsmouth, OH. They have been planning this event for some time to make it successful so I encourage you to get your boxers names in as soon as possible if you have not already done so. They have been providing boxers to other events so let's reciprocate and help them. Call 740-352-5939 or contact Bo Mayo or Joe Collins on Facebook with you boxers' list. I have tagged some coaches that immediatedly came to mind but help spread the word so this event can be a success.
