Well, friends. That’s a wrap. Last night was my last wedding for the unforeseeable future. When I started this little dream of mine three years and one week ago, I envisioned turning it into a full-time gig and being able to stay home with my daughter during the week. Well, then my day job got bigger and better and both were competing. Oh, and then I had another baby. In case that wasn’t enough, then COVID hit. And I realized it definitely wasn’t the best time to focus on A Pineapple Affair 100%. The stress of 2020 and rescheduling and sticking to contracts was a lot. But one thing I took away from 2020 was how grateful I am to see my babies and how blessed I was to be able to see them more than I ever thought possible. So I’m going to focus on my new day job and my daughter is going to be able to come to work with me in the fall and be a full time mama on the weekends. Maybe one day, I’ll get the urge again, but in the meantime I’ll just be looking at weddings on Instagram. Thank you so much to everyone who trusted me to make your wedding day stunning and stress-free. To all the vendors and brides who referred me. To everyone in the wedding business in CHS for being so supportive of one another, and just making this experience amazing. I can’t believe I won The Knot best of award twice, and have just been blown away by what I’ve been able to accomplish as little ole me. So thank you all for supporting and loving me on this journey! One wedding, ✌️looks! After this weekend, I kind of wish everyone would have a combo wedding. Both looks were stunning! The traditional American ceremony was on the North Croquet Lawn and then to celebrate the groom’s heritage, everyone changed into their Indian wedding attire for the reception. came from Florida and brought the party with her! I’m so happy and Bobby were able to finally have the wedding of their dreams after a covid postponement last June! Cheers, y’all!

Had a site visit on Folly Beach today and was reminded of my first wedding for ! I had just started my business and was ready to book! I launched in Spring 2018 so was thinking I’d book my first client in the fall. Kayla and Tate had their day of coordinator cancel two weeks before their April wedding and became my first clients! I love working on Folly Beach, it’s got such a fun vibe and makes for@some beautiful pictures too!

It’s March! I know everyone we’re all still dealing with PTSD from last March, but can I tell you a secret? I LOVE March weddings. I have my first wedding of 2021 in a few weeks and I can’t wait. My husband and I got married in March, which just happened to be a free date. But I just love it. The weather is perfect and it’s right before I feel like things get crazy with summer and breaks and vacations, it’s just my favorite!
